How to Use Water Soluble Dissolvable Laundry Bags

Simply place your contaminated clothing or bedding directly into the bags at the site of the contamination / infestation. You are then safe to carry the bags through your house, to your washing machine.

Place the entire bag into the washing machine, and wash on hot. The bag will safely dissolve at around 65 degrees C, releasing the contents of the bag.

What Situations Are These Used For?

There are many situations when dissolvable laundry bags are useful. A key use we find is for bed bug infestations.

After treatment for a bed bug infestation, you need to ensure no bed bugs remain in bedding or clothing. So simply put all textiles from your bedroom into the dissolvable laundry bags. Then you can safely carry them away to be washed. The risk of then transporting the bed bugs to other areas of your home is minimised.

Another important use for the bags is if you have someone in your home with COVID. To prevent the spread of infection, you are able to ask them to place contaminated bedding or clothing items into a bag. Which can then be taken away to be washed safely.

Furthermore, the laundry bags are useful in instances of incontinence, or in other cases where bedding and clothing may become soiled. Particularly in a care setting. Soiled textiles can be placed in the bags, and transported safely for cleaning or disposal.
