Simply place your contaminated clothing or bedding directly into the bags at the site of the contamination / infestation. You are then safe to carry the bags through your house, to your washing machine.

Place the entire bag into the washing machine, and wash on hot. The bag will safely dissolve at around 65 degrees C, releasing the contents of the bag.

What Situations Are These Used For?

There are many situations when dissolvable laundry bags are useful.  A key use we find is for bed bug infestations.

After treatment for a bed bug infestation, you need to ensure no bed bugs remain in bedding or clothing. So simply put all textiles from your bedroom into the dissolvable laundry bags. Then you can safely carry them away to be washed.  The risk of then transporting the bed bugs to other areas of your home is minimised.

Another important use for the bags is if you have someone in your home with COVID. To prevent the spread of infection, you are able to ask them to place contaminated bedding or clothing items into a bag. Which can then be taken away to be washed safely.

Furthermore, the laundry bags are useful in instances of incontinence, or in other cases where bedding and clothing may become soiled. Particularly in a care setting. Soiled textiles can be placed in the bags, and transported safely for cleaning or disposal.

The trap should be placed in the room for a week

Following analysis of the distribution of the bed bug infestation, the extent of the infestation in the block or hotel can then be managed with best practice bed bug control techniques.

If no bed bugs are caught in the trap following the recommended placement duration, this does not guarantee that the room is free from bed bugs. Additionally, to the untrained eye and without knowledge of insect morphology, bed bug nymphs can sometimes be misinterpreted as other insects, such as booklice. If there is doubt in confirming the presence of trapped insects, it is recommended to consult a qualified entomologist.

The trap is intended as one of the ‘tools’ available to assist the professional user to guide the implementation of control measures according to the recommended best practice guidelines to control bed bugs.

Due to Organ-X Powders non-chemical action, insects cannot become immune or build-up resistance to the product.

The powder is produced from fossilised diatoms and controls parasitic insects by abrasion. It is safe to use in all areas where animals are present

Organ-X Desi-Dust has been independently tested against red mite.

USAGE

Always read the label and use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The information given below is intended as a basic guide only.

Store in a cool dry area.

Bed Bugs

Wash all bedding in hot water, taking care to keep contaminated bedding seperate from all other bedding / clothing etc. Apply the Organ-X powder into the mattress and the ridges on the outside of the mattress. Spread the powder all over the room paying close attention to any cracks and crevices such as skirting boards, corners, door frames etc Dust the carpets with the powder and pay close attention to the floor around all four bed legs. Repeat the treatment once a week for four weeks.

Red Mite / Poultry Mite

Organ-X Killing Powder is ready to use. As with all poultry care products, Organ-X Natural Insect Killing Powder should be used in conjunction with good hygiene practices. All accumulations of poultry manure on surfaces such as nest boxes and egg conveyor covers should be removed prior to application. Good hygiene practices should be adopted throughout the crop cycle to reduce harbourages. Apply the powder to nest boxes, slats and all areas where the birds roost. If applied to litter it can reduce odours by mopping up amonia. Apply Organ-X powder liberally to problem areas paying close attention to cracks and crevices. Product can also be applied directly to the bird or animal. Repeat treatment as necessary.

Crawling Insects

Apply the powder as required to areas where the insects live or frequent such as patios, window and door frames and cracks and crevices. Dust insects directly if possible. It can applied under cookers, fridges, cupboards etc. Repeat treatment as necessary.

Fleas

Thoroughly treat the floor and bedding in and around pets sleeping areas. Can be applied directly to the animals.

Carpet Beetles

Dust along skirting boards, carpet edges, under carpeting, furniture in closets and shelving where the insects are seen or suspected.

Smoke is non-tainting and leaves no residual colour or odours.

This is an ideal product to treat inaccessible areas such as loft voids, nooks and crannies, inside machinery and open room spaces.

Each smoke bomb contains 13.25% Permethrin.

Application rates:

• IC102 Mini – Flying Insects max 120m³, Crawling Insects max 30m³, Cockroaches max 7.5m³

How to use Insecto Smoke Generators

• Work out how many fumers you will need to suitably cover the area to be treated. Heavy infestations may require more than one application.
• Seal off the area as affectively as possible by closing doors and windows, block fireplaces and exclude draughts
• Remove all living organisms such as plants, people, and pets (including fish from the area to be treated)
• Tear off tag from beneath the cap and remove cap, place each generator on a fireproof base such as tin foil
• When more than 1 generator is required, space them equally around the area to be treated and prepare all fumers ready to light, prior to lighting the first
• Ignite generator by using a match. Light each generator in sequence starting with the furthest from the exit
• Leave area being treated for at least 2-3 hours, longer if possible
• After treatment is complete, open all windows and doors and ventilate thoroughly
• In cases of high infestations, it is advisable to use this product in conjunction with a residual insecticide
